The TwinAIR webinar “Pilot Sites: Ethics, Privacy & Participant Protection” successfully brought together researchers, pilot-site representatives and ethics experts to discuss how ethical principles are applied in real-life Indoor Air Quality research.
During the session, speakers shared insights on:
- Ethical considerations in longitudinal health studies
- Data protection and privacy safeguards in pilot environments
- Practical challenges from TwinAIR pilot sites
- The importance of transparency, participant trust and responsible data use
Additionally, the EDIAQI Project, part of the IDEAL Cluster, contributed by presenting how ethical considerations, data protection practices and participant safeguards are addressed within its own activities. This exchange highlighted the value of cross-project collaboration in strengthening ethical standards across EU research initiatives.
The webinar also provided a valuable space for exchange, allowing participants to raise questions, share experiences and reflect on best practices for ethical research implementation.
A big thank you to all speakers, partners and attendees who contributed to this insightful discussion and continue supporting responsible research within the TwinAIR project.
Stay tuned for more updates and upcoming TwinAIR activities!
